i have almost 3 gigs in my email?? bonkers. i remember when i first got gmail i thought i'td never fill it up. i'm almost 40% of the way there.

I was at work, programming and meeting with a client.

all of a sudden i woke up.

i realized i was only dreaming that i was at work, and i am in fact late for work because i was in bed dreaming about work. oh the irony.

i accomplished my goal of reading 2 books this year.

1) the picture of dorian gray by oscar wilde. Awesome ending.. kind of dull at parts. The novel is driven by interesting character developments.

2) i love yous are for white people by lac su (very quick / interesting read) . i read it in maybe 5 hours. it wasn't what i was expecting, which was maybe a chronological story of the author's life. The book turned out to be some defining moments of the Lac's life up to grade 11, and the authors reflection on these events. Without really spoiling it, it involves escaping communism from vietnam, life as a refugee in LA and life as a gang member in LA.

i planned on finishing great expectations as book#2 before starting i love yous, but after flipping through the first few pages i just finished the book.

As i packed my food for work this morning i remembered that my office coffee bean stash has been depleted. So i roasted some more beans, waited a while and poured the (unbeknownst to me ) still hot beans into a ziplock bag for transport. while holding the bag up, coffee beans started pouring out onto the floor making a huge mess. It took me a few seconds to realize that the hot beans melted the freakin bag.

way to give this guy a death sentence toronto star / tony wong. Now all his gang banger buddies know he's a snitch. and what do you think will happen to him... hmmmm i wonder.

unless... this is some sort of trap the police have set up to get teh creba killer to confess by setting him up as a snitch, and then the cops will set him free and the gang will take care of him... oooh i think watch too police themed tv shows.

i remembered studying fiat money and our monetary system back in university (oh gosh ... so long ago... ). I was taught that some how the way the money system works, that there'll be more and more money. it will , in theory, just keep growing and growing infinitely. I didn't really understand how that could possibly work in the long run but i didn't question it back then. well this film answers that question, it can't possibly be sustainable in the long run because we live in a finite world with finite (natural) resources.

Yesterday I read that Accenture is the first company to drop their tiger woods endorsement.

I think the number of endorsements that drop tiger is directly proportional to the number of women that claim to have slept with tiger. 10 was the bottom threshold, and maybe now for every 1 extra woman that comes forward, 1 more company will drop him.

i also read an article about TTC refusing to post ads on their buses and trains for Ashleymadison.com because it is wrong. the ttc equated it to ads promoting people robbing or stealing.

connecting the two, i think tiger should be the poster boy for ashleymadison. he is the epitome of what that service is all about.

i think the media loves stories of celebrities getting caught cheating lets "commoners" get on their high horses .... that and the tiger jokes generated from this are pretty funny.
